I completed my MA in translation in Germersheim in 2021 and am currently working on my PhD, researching language choice in heterolingual situations. I live in Mainz and commute to Germersheim (and luckily love train travel).
I am very happy that the formal representation of PhD candidates in the DoV has made us more visible in the faculty, and that we have more opportunities to communicate and stay in touch – with each other and with the faculty in general.
