I am doing my PhD in the Department of Computer Science since October 2022. Here, I work on methods and ideas on fair and privacy-preserving artificial intelligence. I am very happy to be part of the current PhD representatives and hope to promote and strengthen networking, exchange and communication between doctoral students - both within the department and across departments.
David Maksimovic – Physics
My name is David Maksimovic and I have been doing my doctorate in the Department of Physics at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz since September 2021. My research focuses on the development of methods and concepts for the application of artificial intelligence in astroparticle physics and multi-messenger astronomy.
I am happy to be part of the current PhD Representatives and hope to contribute together with the other members to improve the working conditions for PhD students. It is my goal to bring about sustainable change and create a strong foundation for future generations.
